"I have only slipped away into the next room. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Laugh as we always laughed together .... Let my name be the household word it always was. Let it be spoken without effort .... Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight?...." Responsive Grants The foundation's responsive grant program is a way of reaching out to the youth in the community by funding certain projects and programs that meet the criteria and support the mission of The Matt Blackwell Foundation.
Once an individual or organization completes a Grant Request Application, the application is reviewed by the foundation's board of directors. Once the board determines the request to be a project which supports its mission, and determines the monies are available, the application is approved and the project is funded, either partially or fully.
To date, The Matt Blackwell Foundation's Responsive Grant Program has provided support for several school and church related programs, as well as many other youth projects and missions.
